April 1st 2014: Spitz’s Soapbox New Monthly Feature Introduction

April 1, 2014

Hello folks. I’m always thinking about new types of articles or features for Spitz’s Soapbox to fill the gap between video game and anime monthlies each month. While I enjoy writing Incoherent Ramble articles, I feel like there’s still often a large lull in content on my blog.
I’ve thought long and hard about how best to fill this void, and ultimately I came to the conclusion that while brand new articles are fun “in the now”, a lot can still be achieved through making articles from the past better than they were before.
So I’m pleased today, to share a new type of article; one focused on improving and putting a fresh face on things from the past:

Spitz’s Patch Notes

A taste for what can be expected follows:

Spitz’s Patch Notes: April, 2014

“Hey Spitz, What’ve You Been Watching? February 2013 pt 2”:
-added additional spaces between content segments to improve readability
-adjusted font sizes 5% to improve readability
-grammar pass

“So About Them “Videogames”, May 2013″:
-uploaded and replaced image file which sometimes didn’t display properly
-reworded and reduced later paragraphs to cut back on unnecessary rambling

“Hey Spitz, What’ve You Been Watching? December 2013”:
-added additional spaces between content segments to improve readability
-adjusted Little Busters! Refrain image size to improve readability
-grammar pass

“Hey Spitz, What’ve You Been Watching? October 2013”:
-reworded Attack on Titan “What it is” section to make more sense
-reworded Sankarea” “What I thought” section to make more sense
-multiple grammar passes

“Spitz’s Year-end Wrap Up 2013”:
-fixed broken link
-rearranged overall article structure to be more coherent
-grammar pass
-fixed numerous title misspellings

That is just a small example of the wonderful ways patch notes will put a new face on old blog content. I hope everyone is as excited for the new monthly article as I am to put it out!
Please keep an eye for the opportunity to look at your favorite articles in a new light.
